18 Best Tailwind Communities (formerly Tailwind Tribes) to Boost your Blog and better reach your ideal audience.

What is Tailwind and what are Tailwind Communities? 

Tailwind is a fantastic scheduler that helps you keep on track with scheduling your Pins to Pinterest (it also does Instagram, but I don’t use it for this). One handy and super clever feature of Tailwind is Tailwind Communities (formerly Tailwind Tribes).

Now, Communities are sorta like Pinterest Groups, but, much, much better! … they are wee community groups of Pinners who come together on Tailwind to help each other out by repinning each other’s niche specific content. 

Bonus here is threefold

1. You must repin other great content… or you get kicked out! So, people don’t just dump and run. 

2. People on Tailwind, in my experience, are active and kind and collaborative. They want to be helpful. So these Communities seem to work well.

3. The Pins are HIGH quality and relevant. Tailwind Community members aren’t just there to hug spiders. 

How do you choose which Communities to join?

Easy! Make sure the Community is highly relevant to your niche. That way you’re only Pinning highly valuable content to the Community and you’ll have a higher chance of getting reshared. 

Check that the Community has a good Virality score. This is calculated by the number repins achieved by the Community divided by the number of posts added to the Community. A score, for me of over 1 is a good indication of value. Meaning that for every post made in the group it is on average, repined at least once. I’ve added the Virality scores to each group below.
